Chris, Jamie and family we are in constant prayer for you. Not a single hour goes by that you are not in our thoughts.
Remember, this whole past weekend did not catch God off guard- he is in complete control and he knows every inch of Jamie's body. We pray that he breathes breath into Jamie's lungs, that he restores every organ in her body and that he gives every family member a peace beyond all understanding.
We love you guys and can not wait to welcome you home with open arms!

We are the Aunt and Uncle of Ali and Brian Heerdt. Through Ali and Brian we get updates on Jamie's condition each day. Although we do not know Jamie well, we remember her from Ali and Brian's wedding and what a beautiful young woman we found her to be. We want all of you to know that we are praying for a full-recovery. We are so sorry for hers and all of your suffering. Warmly, Tom and Patty Sprich

Chris and Jamie-I remember when I came in to take over Spanish III-IV when Blick was ill, and you two were in the same class. You always scooted your desks together to work with each other any time we had small group work. You were a strong couple as kids, and I feel certain you are even more strong as adults. I am praying for you.

I do not personally know the family but I know several of their friends and my heart goes out to them. Their lil baby is just beautiful. I have a 10 month old grandson and they are so precious and he needs his mommy and daddy. GOD IS AWESOME and HE knows that and already it sounds like you have came along way up to 50/50 and I'm so thankful. You will put on my church's prayer list and I will pray for your family daily. May GOD Bless and know that GOD is always on our side.

Though we're not related, Jamie is indeed a part of the Kirkling family. From the time she was a very young girl, she was always at our family reunions, parties and would often come to Clay City, Indiana just to visit. She's a very important part of my cousin, Kelly's, life and we've all grown to love her, Chris and the entire Blackwell/Loveless family. All of our hearts go out to all of them. We know that the power of prayer and the love & support from family and friends will help Jamie fully recover. She's a person who is full of life and we can't wait to see her, Chris and little Gavin at the next Kirkling family event! God bless!

Our hearts goes out to the entire Blackwell-Loveless families. Thoughts and Prayers have been risen up continually since day one when we heard of Jamie falling sick on vacation. Will continue to do so in hopes of a full recovery. Jamie and Chris graduated with our oldest daughter Christy and although we have never been close, the love between Chris and Jamie was evident since they were so young. God speed for a quick and full recovery for Jamie to return home soon with Chris and resume her role as mommy to this beautiful boy of theirs.

I am encouraged by the change that was posted last evening. You have been on mind, almost constantly, every since I heard the news. I don't know you personally, but feel such a strong connection to you. I know your Mom, and we have talked about our girls many times. My daughter, who is your same age, attended college in Nashville, so we have shared those conversations, along with sharing the happiness that comes with being a grandparent. I just know that anyone who has heard about what you are going through has been touched, and is praying for your full recovery. I will continue to pray for all of you.

To the Loveless and Blackwell Families,

We are new neighbors of Jamie, Chris and Gavin and heard about Jamie’s condition from another neighbor. We have been trying to get Jamie’s story out to as many groups as we can to get prayers going for her, and I know there are people all over the US that are praying for Jamie and your families. It is very difficult to imagine what you all must be going through, but we have Faith that in God’s very capable hands Jamie will be back at home with Chris and Gavin soon. You all will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sir,

I have never met you, nor did I have the pleasure of knowing your late wife, but news of her death has traveled and even in London she is mourned. We must all remember, however, that death is hardly the end and that her absence from your life--while undoubtedly painful--is but a temporary one. You will see her again, I assure you.

The Blackwell/Loveless Families,

Although I did not know Jamie as well as I would have liked, the times I did talk to her she was always so sweet and kind. She truly had one of the biggest hearts ever- was always willing to help and patient with others. It is unfair and confusing why someone so incredibly wonderful and sweet would have something bad like this happen to them. Chris, I do believe she will now be you and your son's angel- watching down and protecting you two for the rest of your lives. From what I knew about her, she loved life so much that I'm sure she would want you and your son to continue loving your lives as much as she did. I am so sorry for your loss of such a great person. Loveless and Blackwell Families,

There are simply no words to express our saddness, nor to suffiently comfort you. Heather and I are incredibly saddened by your loss. We have been and will continue to pray for all of you. Folks in our church and those we work with (many of whom do not know you at all) have also been praying. As you no doubt now know from the outpouring of support evidenced on this site and elsewhere, you have the prayers and support of many people in many places (certainly in Mooresville). Please know that such support and those prayers do not cease with Jamie's passing. May you take some small degree of solace in knowing that Jamie unquestionably had a positive impact on so many lives (more than you will probably ever truly know). All who were blessed to meet or know Jamie in some capacity were/are better for it. I know I feel that way. We will continue to pray that God will give you peace and comfort during this time, and that He will in particular uplift and Bless Chris and Gavin. Many things are beyond our earthly understanding, but nothing is beyond God's understanding and He never stops loving or caring. We must never stop trusting in Him, even (indeed, especially) in times of tragedy and struggle. Be strong and be faithful, and please don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do, whatever the need.

You all remain in our prayers,

I am very sorry for your loss. There are no words that can be said to lighten your pain. Know that she is in a better place and is watching over Gavin and her family. My prayers and thoughts are with you in this time of need.

"God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not meant to be,
So he put his arms around you
and whispered "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
as we saw you pass away.
Although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your Golden Heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best. "

May God bless you all during your loss with His presence. I feel led to share with you these scriptures. I hope it helps. I will be praying for you.

1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Even though we didn't know Jamie personally, we have been praying for our sister-in-Christ with the Luptons and our Bible Study in Fishers, IN. We will continue to pray for your family. Our earthly hearts are broken... and only He can heal us. I thought I would share this from "Prayers for the Moment" by Jim and Kaye Johns:

"When we're hurting, help us to find our joy in Christ, for it's His joy that will be our strength when all human strength is gone. Help us to trust Him as our God of hope. Help us experience the love, joy, and peace that are the results of His life in us, no matter what we are going through. (Nehemiah 8:10, Romans 15:13, Galatians 5:22) The Lamb on the throne will be our Shepherd. He will lead us to springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe every tear from our eyes." Revelations 7:17 (NLT) May you sense His presence more than ever. We love you.

Just spoke to Jack Coons, with Sharp, who had forwarded the information to our VP of Sales. Our VP sent the notification for prayer to all sales personnel. I know that they, like myself, forwarded to others. I did not meet Jamie, but knew we needed to pray. That's all we needed to do. But now our prayers of healing will go to her family members, friends, and all who knew her (and even didn't). Hopefully, you will feel some sense of relief in knowing we really are sad to know that she is gone.
God Bless you all!

Family,

Today, Friday October 30, was Jamie's first full day in Heaven. I bet you she never felt stress, anger or sadness or any pain. I imagine this was the best Friday she ever had. I think of her looking down on us and telling us "just wait until you see this guys..." On every Friday whenever Jamie would call in for her voicemail or to check in or whatever we would say hey to eachother but not in the normal way. You see about a year ago we started saying heeeeeey to eachother in a long drawn out tone that made us laugh each time we did it. It was our Friday thing.

This passed Friday and as many God will allow me after that I will always think back to our heeeey and I'll remember the sound of her voice just as long.

My thoughts continue to be with you.

Chris, Gavin and the whole family,
As a coworker of Ashley and Tawana, I heard of the tragic illness that Jamie was fighting, and eventually lost the battle of her life to. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers as you face this very difficult time. Hold fast to the strength of God, your family, your friends and all of those who care about you and your young family. Keep Jamie's memory alive for little Gavin who will not have the opportunity to know her here on earth. A small piece of her legacy will always be with you as long as you have him. I cannot imagine going through your ordeal, even in my line of work, but my heart aches for what you have gone through. Friends and family gathered to lay Jamie to rest early this afternoon. The day started out rainy but the skies cleared and the sun was out after her services. Chris gave a lovely tribute to his wife which included some sweet and funny memories and some tears. Hundreds of people came to pay their respects at calling and again today for the funeral. If there was one thing that was mentioned over and over it was her warm smile and sweet nature. Luckily she has passed these traits on to Gavin. There will be sorrow ahead for CHris and the families and friends so please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. I know Chris appreciates everything that everyone has done for him and Gavin. Please get an N1H1 shot and encourage your family and friends to get vaccinated also. "Our Sweet Jamie"

How blessed this world is to have had someone like you.
Your light, your love… it will always shine through.

Your beautiful brown eyes, how they drew people in.
We all wish we could see you again.

You lit up every room… every time, every place.
We’ll always remember your gorgeous face and your grace.

To us, you were it. You were everything.
You made the gods rejoice and the angels sing.

A part of you lives on for always, everyone sees.
Gavin is your greatest gift, we think you would agree.

We thank God everyday for giving you precious life.
A friend, daughter, mother and wife.

Now you’re in Heaven and you are out of sight.
Your smile, we’ll remember, so beautiful and bright.

Never forget you are loved and you always will be.
We’ll remember you forever, our sweet Jamie.
